Hi, Joanne. I would like to shelve this. Who is the author? I looked at your first page of "read" books and there is nothing there by that title.
Thanks.

Sent you a PM
Is it this one? By Damian Dibbenhttps://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
I had it on my bookshelf as a possibility for the Animals tag.

I got Joanne's PM, and yes, Nancy, that's the one! Thank you both!

What I do when the title is so common that there are too many books, is I put the author's name in. So I just typed "tomorrow damien" and it came up right at the top.

This was a such a good read. The fantastical story of a dog and the human that bestowed internal life onto both of them. Being a dog owner, if I had that power I would use it on my dog too. Well, to be honest, maybe not the current stubborn beast, Miss Lola, but for sure on the Golden Retriever I lost 10 years ago, Miss Luna. She was a soulmate.
The author gives a marvelous account of history through the ages.
The chapters alternate between the late 1880's and the 217 years before that. All through the eyes of the dog. Don't think cheesy mystery or romance-think beautiful writing with joy and sadness and all of life's love and heartaches.
I loved it. If you are an animal lover, I know you will too.
