Jenny | 1 comments For the first time in I don't remember how long I finished a book!! I am on track for my 12 books in 12 months goal- yay. I went to the library to look for titles recommended by you lovely ladies and they must be good, becasue they were all out. So I reserved a ton of options and chose something randomly off the shelf. It was The Boat by Clara Salaman. It was ok, a bit dark. There were places where I was skim reading ahead to see what was going to happen though, which is always a good sign. I got into bed each night looking forward to reading, which is what I'm hoping for in this challenge. Some of my library reserves have some in now, so I just started The Wives of Los Alamos.

What are you guys reading in Jan?

Jen

Bronwen Carpenter | 1 comments Congrats! I'm almost done with Americannah and loooooooove it. But I bet it will be a while till you can get it at the library, there were almost 300 holds for it at mine. Up next is Innocent Blood by PD James for my bookgroup. None of us had read anything by her so we decided to start with one of her most popular in honor or her recent death.
