Okay, hi everybody! I'm Paige as you may know!
So I have many...MANY.... thoughts about this book.
But I want to hear your thoughts first! Let's start with the plot. Like EVERYTHING that happened. What are your thoughts?

Who was your fav POV, Nikolai, Zoya, Isaak or Nina?

Mine was def Zoya XD

Zoya was my favourite too!! Although I love Nikolai and Nina almost as much as I love Zoya.
But Nina's chapters we're kinda boring to me, except when she mentioned one of the crows ahem... Kaz Brekker!! What do you think about the climax?? For me it was (view spoiler)[dramatic and way too much but I was really happy to have him back!! (hide spoiler)] 💞

Ahhhh yeah Nikolai will always hold a special place in my heart, I love him A LOT. Ahhhh yeah same! I found Zoya and Nikolai's story much more engaging! And ahhh no I loved the climax! I thought she had done it perfectlyyyyy! And when you say 'my him' do you mean the Darkling?

I think I just got a lil spoiler but I think she does mean Aleksander because she and I both fangirl over him like anything XD
He's like the only reason that trilogy has an overall rating of 2.5 stars for me. If it was just Mal and Alina it wouldn't even get 1 star! (view spoiler)[But I hate that he dies :/ (hide spoiler)]

By 'my him' I meant (view spoiler)[Darkling, yeah (hide spoiler)] but 'my' was just a typo, I have edited that now. Haha!!

Oh yeah sorry Aahana! I'll hide the spoilers now (although how do I do that?). Ahhhh yeah I do like him, but after what he did to Genya? No. But before that, in Shadow and Bone, I just wanted Alina and the Darkling to be together! And okay hahah Ayesha thanks! And ahhhhh OH MY GOSH I KNOW! In the trilogy they were like my OTP! But only in Ruin and Rising since Zoya was a bit of a mean girl before that. And ikr! Like Zoya is just so sweeeeetttt to Nikolai!

OK, I saw that but yeah I won't see them now.
But it's OK, I've had worse spoilers. Like in Throne of Glass. And we all know how much I love that XD

Well (view spoiler)[ when he died at the end of Ruin and Rising I honestly felt so sorry for him and I wanted him to survive! He had just been thru soooo much, and have you read the short story when he and his mom were younger? Ahhhh my heart breaks at that spoiler>

But now he is (view spoiler)[ like taking control of Nikolai? NO ONE HURTS MY NIKOLAI! Hehe spoiler> (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

I haven't read any short stories, there's one for Genya too...is it interesting though?? Should I go for it?? Is there anything about (view spoiler)[Darkling and Lizabeta?? Like how they met and all that. Sis really kept his vessel for 3 years to be resurrected, haha!! (hide spoiler)]

Hahahah yeah now that I know how to do it I'm prob going to overdo it for a bit :). And yes! Look them up online! I'll list all the short stories (they are all REALLY good especially the one about the Darkling...it will BREAK your heart) The Tailor, A lost letter from Mal (which you guys prob won't be interested in but still), The Demon in the Wood (BREAKS MY HEART).

You have to read all of these! Except for the Mal one, it doesn't have the Darkling in it, but the Tailor and the other one do. And no there isn't, it's about the Darkling as a teenager and...how he learned to mistrust everyone. It's so sad :(. (view spoiler)[ And ikr! That was like really shocking, and then (AAHANA DON'T READ THIS) they just ended up using Yuri's body instead! One of the things I most liked about the Darkling was his body heehee spoiler> (hide spoiler)]

And ahhhh I guess but still Nikolai is just my bae XD.

I have read all of them! Well I mean I have all of them, they are a part of my actual copies of the three books in the trilogy. I haven't read the Demon in the Woods but now that it's "a heartbreaking story about the Darkling" I will definitely read it!
I liked the Tailor. And Mal's letter... well, I hate him, so I hated it too :D

Oh okay, I will read it when I'll be having a Grishaverse breakdown. Also, I am so excited for the Netflix series of Shadow and Bone...would you watch that??

Ohh Ben Barnes is playing the Darkling's role....remember him?? From Narnia?? He was prince Caspian in the second part!!<3
But he will be called the general or something ( I don't like that ).
The cast is just so perfect, I really hope they release the trailer this month!! :D

I hate it when series like don' stick to the plot of the books (like the Shadowhunter Netflix series) it just ruins it!
And hahahah well I can't wait to see Kaz and Inej and Nikolai!

I loved the ATBP movie! But yeah it was nowhere near as good as the book. But then again, nothing can be. The book was 💕🥺

Yeah, I mean they left out important book stuff in the movie. Like, Finch changing his appearance regularly, Violet and Finch chatting via Virginia Woolf's quote. And Jovian Plutonion gravitational affect theory!!!
But I agree the movie was nice. I didn't love it as much as I thought I would.
And the music was just <3

I want there to be a breathless movie!! Claude is my baby and whoever plays her cannot do justice to her beautiful soul, but I want a movie nonetheless 🥰

They're YA contemporary romance. From the same writer!! And if you like YA then you should definitely go for it!!! <3

Oh okay! Well I do love all YA, and I haven't really read a lot of contemporary romance, so I'll def give it a try :).

Now back to King of Scars! Did anyone else find it annoying that the set rules of the Grishaverse magic could be broken in this books now? (view spoiler)[ I mean I always loved how their were rules to the magic, but now with Zoya, and Nina, these rules are breaking! spoiler> (hide spoiler)]

Yeah I know, (view spoiler)[What's even the concept of Alina being different when ( AAHANA SPOILERS!!! ) Zoya and Nina, no matter how much I love them, and almost every main Grisha has different powers than others?? And yes the rules and magic system, it changes as the situation demands. (hide spoiler)]
