Christian Nonfiction Lovers Book Club discussion

Hi there,

I'm a self published author. I recently wrote a book documenting my journey through being raised in the church and homeschooled, to the vast contrasts of what it was like being married to an alcoholic. Throughout the book I continually come back to my relationship with God and how His strength is what got me and our marriage through.

Being self published, especially in today's social distancing culture, it's really hard to get out there and market the book. I'd love to hear what you guys think! I'll post a link to the amazon purchase page, also available on Kindle.

It is very difficult. I started 1.5 years ago. It gets easier but there are a lot of things to do in order to get noticed.

Keep writing. With each additional title, your visibility on Amazon grows. Also, Faithful Reads.com does promos that can be helpful in getting a book started. It takes diligence and patience, but the way I look at it is that if even one reader is helped or touched by your story, it's worth it. :)
