Where Good Ideas Come From
question
e-reading? I love it but miss my physical book shelves!

Nowadays I only read digital books with my ereader. So I no longer have the physical (paper) books on a book shelf in my living room. Which is great on one side for it no longer occupies room.
But I miss the overview of books I read, therefore I am very, very happy with the Goodreads website to keep track of what books I read.
But I still miss the display of books I read in my home like I used to do. Having visitors looking at your book shelves always brings interesting conversations. I really miss that.
How can this be solved?
One way is to grab your computer and open up Goodreads and click the "My books" button on the top. This displays the covers of the books in the order you read them. This is a nice start.
But can this be improved? Could this be an app on a tablet, dedicated for scrolling and clicking and reading the back of the book and so on?
Or maybe integration between Goodreads with a tool like this: https://bookcase.chromeexperiments.com/
Are there other solutions? What do others use, is this recognized at all?
Thanks for discussing and giving your ideas on this subject!
PS Steve Johnson's book seemed a good one to link this question to ;-)
