Sign up to the challenge where it is shown at the top of the discussions. You will be asked which shelf the books to read are on. If you say horse and you do not have a horse bookshelf, Goodreads will put one in to your personal list of shelves. I chose horse fact.
When you complete a read and place it on that shelf Goodreads sees the progress.

Now the challenge registers that you have read some of the books.

You might decide to name it challenge shelf so it would be used for challenges in any other Group too.
Tell us your titles in this thread.

I recently read this one and can brush up again for the challenge if needed.
Rough Magic Riding the World’s Wildest Horse Race by Lara Prior-Palmer
I have this one on my Kindle to read.

Riding Barranca Finding Freedom and Forgiveness on the Midlife Trail by Laura Chester
Fair Girls and Grey Horses by Josephine Pullein-Thompson
Donkey Work by Doreen Tovey Flash The Homeless Donkey Who Taught Me about Life, Faith, and Second Chances by Rachel Anne Ridge
We allow donkeys and mules! But you might want to keep these for a donkey challenge in the future.
Horse Of A Different Colour A Tale of Breeding Genius and Dominant Females by James D. Squires
Alex, The West Nile Horse by Kathleen Murray Klosterman
The Elements of Horse Spirit The Magical Bond Between Humans and Horses by Debra Deangelo

Just a few suggestions from my own shelves.

Author Hilary Walker
Hilary Walker
is giving away a memoir called First Catch Your Horse: The Autobiography of an Awful Rider with Aspirations
First Catch Your Horse The Autobiography of an Awful Rider with Aspirations (The Horse Bumbler Book 1) by Hilary Walker
This is under 80 pages so you can easily fit it in this year. To get the book you will need to join Hilary's newsletter list, but she is a dedicated horse lover and only mails once a month.

Kathleen Schmitt | 9 comments How do I suggest my book, The Best That Can Happen: The Grand Trek, for this challenge? It's a memoir about when I decided to ride from coast to coast?

To finish up my challenge in a day I picked First Catch Your Horse: The Autobiography of an Awful Rider with Aspirations First Catch Your Horse The Autobiography of an Awful Rider with Aspirations (The Horse Bumbler Book 1) by Hilary Walker and I have just spent a happy Sunday morning reading about other people's problem buys, which the Germans call scheudenfreude.

Yes, I can recommend this one.

Any thoughts on a challenge for Spring?
Maybe a book with a foal in the story?
