Thsi book is set in the present, but the notions of past, present and future are really important since it is a retelling of A Christmas Carrol and the MC is the Ghost of Christmas Past

In this series, the MC has to deal with ghosts. In this particular book, she explores the Catacombs in Paris where not only a lot of bones ended up when the cemetaries were too full but also, some people got lost and found their end there...
