One of the best twists with early clues I’ve read in a while. I went back and couldn’t figure out the book. When she first went into the locker room, Whiley’s locker was open but there was no mention of a book. Guess she saw it and it wasn’t mentioned.

I like that it was so shocking but there were ways we could have figured it out. We did think something was off about the situation but just about the beating.

Nope. It surprised me. I never saw it coming. I was just worried that Dunn's case would be kicked because of the beating he took from the cops.

complete shock to me. I had a feeling there was something more to the 2 officers assaulting him but it never dawned on me why they did it. Creepo!
