Omg!! Now y’all keep adding more that I want to read. 😂🤣BUT, I own one and two are on KU so I’m going to
Plus 1:
Belle Vue
The Carrow Haunt
The Ghosts of David Brook
I would like to nominate The Other Side of Midnight
, by Simone St. James. I also second Sweetheart, Sweetheart. That is an excellent choice!
Oooh I love ghost stories! Question for the initiated: does A Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay fit the prompt or is it more metaphorical??!
Latasha wrote: "I'm gonna say no. if I remember right, its more of a possession story."Bummer! Okay I will rely on everyone else's great nominations instead lol
I will +1 of The Carrow Haunt by Darcy Coates and +1 of The Ghosts of David Brook by Amy Cross. I am adding this book by Amy Cross too as it just released back in June and it sounds really ghost spooky.

If I’m wrong, someone let me know.

Despite the title, it's not about ghosts. And we did a group read of it in the past couple years, so it wouldn't qualify for that reason either.

Despite the title, the book isn't about hauntings, it's really more of a folk/cult story.

Ah okay, fair! Thank you!
I’d like to nominate
I think there are several volumes, if the group has already read the first one.

That was the one I was going to recommend. I second your choice.

Abandon by Blake Crouch
On Christmas Day in 1893, every man, woman, and child in a remote gold-mining town disappeared, belongings forsaken, meals left to freeze in vacant cabins—and not a single bone was ever found.
One hundred sixteen years later, two backcountry guides are hired by a history professor and his journalist daughter to lead them to the abandoned mining town so they can learn what happened. Recently, a similar party had also attempted to explore the town and was never heard from again. Now the area is believed to be haunted. This crew is about to discover, twenty miles from civilization with a blizzard bearing down, that they are not alone, and the past is very much alive.
Oh, I love this theme. I'll second The Carrow Haunt and I Remember You!
I'll nominate Winterbay Abbey and The Girl from Rawblood.

It's time for our December nominations and I'm hosting so you know what that means! No, not vampires. Ghost stories! In the grand Victorian tradition, we shall have ghost stories at Christmas! Our December theme is ghost stories!
Authors may not nominate their own book. Books read in the group within the past 3-4 years are ineligible.
You can find a list of those here:
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
For the complete list of rules regarding the nominations, please go here:

Books with the most nominations, seconds, thirds, etc., have a better chance of making it to the final poll.
**Nominations will close 11/19/20**
