Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson is book #4 and it was my first book by Sanderson I've read! Finished today. 4.5/5
#5 is Alice Payne Arrives and I feel like it's a 3.5 star, had some good ideas but didn't grab me enough to continue the series.
#6 was Assassin's Apprentice and another 3.5 star for me. I found it slow, which at times was a bit *too* slow, so I'm hoping there are more events in books 2 & 3.
#7 is The Apparition Phase - 4 stars - I got through this quite quickly and there's a lot more to it than the blurb suggests!
# 12 - Leviathan Wakes - 4.5 stars. I've reached the summit of Pike's Peak already! I can't quite believe I've done it so soon; I will have to start aiming Mount Blanc now!
I just finished #2, sadly #3 & 4 won't count towards Mount TBR as I don't have a copy of 3 and 4 only came out this year :D
# 15 - A Closed and Common Orbit - 5 stars - a lovely cosy sci-fi that I don't know why I put off reading for so long
#16 - To Sleep in a Sea of Stars - 5 stars - a vast, sweeping, epic space-opera with over 800 pages!
#17 - Wain: LGBT reimaginings of Scottish folktales - 5 stars - some delightful poems based on Scottish folktales with LGBT+ twists to them, short and heartwarming
#18 - Rogue Protocol - 4 stars - I read this in the middle of the night while I couldn't sleep because of tooth pain (no fun). It kept me distracted and I enjoyed this newest twist in the continuing story of Murderbot.
#19 & 20 - Malice and Valour both by John Gwynne. Somewhere between 4 and 5 stars, haven't quite decided yet!
Bev wrote: "You're getting close!"I know... I keep getting distracted buying/reading new books and feeling guilty about my netgalley backlog.
DNF Update: I have hit 10 DNF's that have been cleared off the TBR. Shame I couldn't add them to the challenge proper but every little helps getting these numbers down!
#24 - Exit Strategy (5 stars) - made it to the top of Pike's Peake! Woohoo! I really enjoy the Murderbot series and hope to get a copy of the novel next!
