ᴄᴀᴍᴘ ᴇʟᴅᴇʀʙᴇʀʀʏ ꜰᴏʀ ᴇᴛʜᴇʀᴇᴀʟ ~ ꜱᴇᴍɪ-ᴅᴇᴛᴀɪʟᴇᴅ discussion

This is where the Camp Director (Mrs. Thelma) will make important announcements. Announcements might be a class starting soon, an event beginning, or a request to see a certain camper.

Announcements are broadcasted over the speaker system at camp so that everyone will hear them.

If you have a counselor/worker/instructor that needs to make an announcement (ex. if a cabin activity or game is about to start, if you are holding a class or activity, if you want help taking care of the garden, etc.) you may also post your announcement down below.
When you post as an announcement, make sure you are forming that announcement like you would in a roleplay, so speak from the perspective of your character. Also use proper punctuation, grammar, and capitalization.
If I see any announcements that are irrelevant, inappropriate, or written incorrectly, I will ask you kindly to fix them.

Only Counselors, Instructors, and Workers may give announcements. Campers are not allowed to, but if you see a special need to, send me a message and I might allow it.

Mrs. Thelma speaks into the loudspeakers, broadcasting a message to the whole camp. They crackle coming on, and she clears her voice. "Attention Camp Elderberry. Tomorrow, we will be hosting a tie dye and ice cream extravaganza for all of our campers and counselors. Counselors, tomorrow morning when your cabin wakes up, remind then to meet at the Craft Corner at 2:30 pm for this fun event! Everyone will be given a plain white camp shirt, and we have a variety of colors you can choose from. An ice cream buffet will be served outside the building. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask."

"Cabins have been updated, everyone who was on the waiting list has been added to a cabin! Some of our cabins had openings, if you do not see your name listed on one of the 3 new cabins, check the other ones."

"Cabin Moose and Cabin Hedgehog both have open counselor spots for female counselors. Once we have more counselors, those positions will be filled in. Thank you, and make sure you go check out/get settled in your cabin. Counselors may have opening games or icebreakers, so be prepared for that. "

Mrs. Thelma walked over to the loudspeaker in her office and turned it on. "Attention Camp Elderberry! Let the Team Competition continue! Make sure you are working together with your team to figure out the clue and head to that place, where - if you are correct - there will be a challenge activity waiting for you to complete. If you have not joined your team yet, make sure you catch up with them! They need your help! Anyone who has not checked in with their team by tonight will be sent a reminder message. Thank you, and have fun today!" Mrs. Thelma smiled and turned the loudspeaker off.

"Attention Camp Elderberry! We have had a...gas leak in the Enchanted Forest. For the time being, everyone needs to stay out of the forest! I repeat, stay out of the forest! There is no reason to worry or panic, we have it contained for the moment and it will be taken care of as promptly as possible. Thank you."

"Attention Camp Elderberry! As it is now nearing the holidays and winter, the camp is currently being decorated for the holidays! Each cabin will have a live tree with boxes of lights and ornaments for the cabin members to decorates, along with some over festive things! A huge tree is being decorated in the Main Hall, which is where we will have our Secret Santa.

We are now offering Sleigh Rides! Our horses are suited up and ready to go!
Choose a special friend and surprise then with a ride around the snowy camp. Come to Mrs. Thelma's office if you would like to schedule a sleigh ride.
The ride will take you through camp, the apple tree path, and around the lake. Hot cocoa and warm blankets are included on your ride. Thank you, and we hope to see you in the office to have a fun sleigh ride!"

"Attention Camp Elderberry! Our Winter Festival is beginning!
All of the booths and activities have been set up for your enjoyment, so we will see you there!

Make sure you have bought your gift for your Secret Santa by today at 5:00 pm EST. Otherwise, campers will be very sad without their gift. We will be sending out separate message reminders later this afternoon to each camper who has not let us know what their gift it.
