I felt that this was definitely better than the previous one. I really liked that we get to see more of the vampires, and Magnus's remarks about Parisian vampires taking offense easily are hilarious. And then learning about his past loves (Axel is nice!) was super interesting too. But I think, in the Bane Chronicles, what I like most is how they correlate with history. Y'know, what with the French revolution, Marie Antoinette's disappearance, it was really cool. And then that ending, where he abandons Axel for the man in the parlour, that's just so... Magnus. Except he can never do that to Alec, or I will kill him 😉
One thing I loved and enjoyed so much while reading this story was about the time period. The French Revolution has always been one of my favorite history subject. It all felt so real and seeing Magnus' perspective of the revolution was so cool! I also liked the interactions with the queen. :)
@Beenish btw your first video was great! I enjoyed listening to you. I and my friends have subscribed too. :)
thank you! it means a lot. I hope you enjoy the content coming in future. I'll definitely have a lot of shadowhunters stuff to talk about
