what's your bookish pet peeve?

mine is when people continue series they know they don't like just so they can trash talk it and the author

I know! I have two:
when people judge books by their movies. (especially when the movies are bad.)
or...
When people reading books, bend the cover over! It literally gives you the worst feeling in the world

Those are all annoying.
Mine is when people fold or damage pages of books especially if the books are from the library
I also hate it when people don't respect other people's opinions when it comes to books.

and when people think that they are being attacked when someone, especially booktubers, don't like a book they do. first off, you didn't write the book, and second, they don't even know you!
