It's a short story and the description mentions that it's set one year before the Forbidden which is book 1 in the series.

Thank you. But the story doesn't make sense until you read book 1, since it's about how the (invisible in book 1) problems started. In other words, you need to read book 1 and then this one.

Then, should it make more sense as #1.5?
