Was Rhett a bad lover?

Perhaps it had less to do with how good he was, but more to do with Scarlett feeling more for him, whereas she hadn't really felt something before as she'd previously been obsessed with her childhood crush.
I second the opinion it was more about Scarlett realizing the depth of feelings she has/has had for Rhett and less about Rhett's abilities. The man oozes sexual confidence throughout the book.
the love of Rhett is also demonstrated well in a sequel to Gone with the Wind, a novel by Alexandra Ripley, Scarlett. Scarlett was hard to love, she herself didn't know what she wanted, except that she knew she wanted everything. Scarlett is a strong character and witty, and she might look selfish, but when we look at her actions, she only did what she did for the good of everyone around her, nobody was as strong as she was. Sometimes, she had to want everything, for the sake of feeling secure. Rehtt did offer everything, but she always wanted more. Until she realises she just wanted Rehtt, so yes Rhett was a good lover to Scarlett

"For the first time in her life, she had felt alive, felt passion as sweeping and primitive as the fear she had known the night she fled Atlanta, as dizzy sweet as the cold hate when she had shot the Yankee."
So it seems she had never enjoyed marital relations before and Rhett didn't care. Maybe it was a norm then as women were supposed to stoically endure and accept man's desires. But still...
