Nah you don’t sound stupid. It’s completely fine to not Knw stuff when youre new to weird communities 😂 a readathon is basically a friendly little competition where you read as many books as you can in a given spell of time : ) Sometimes, its not a competition too :p

Basically it's book reading with other people or by yourself. It can be several hours long to see how many books you can cram in or it can be stretched to days with just one book (then it becomes a buddy read kinda).
