Museum 35. Instituto Ricardo Brennand in Recife, Brazil

1. Location - Recife, Brazil (surrounded by a reserve of preserved Amazon)
Task: Read a book set in Brazil or the Amazon forest.

2. About - Instituto Ricardo Brennand's architecture is inspired by a Tudor-style castle complete with drawbridge.
Task: Read a book with a bridge on the cover or "bridge" in the title. Plurals are allowed.

3. Collection - Margaret Moe's Amazon
(view spoiler)
Task: Read a book that has two main words with the same initial in the title. There may be articles and conjoiners (the, in, and, but, etc), but no additional words. The articles and conjoiners are not included in words containing the same initial.
eg. Magpie Murders, The Girls in the Garden, but NOT The Taker or A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.

4. Interactive item - based on the Instituto Ricardo Brennand.
Task: Your choice based on your selection from the collection. Required - link to the picture and explain connection.

Cherie (crobins0) | 21509 comments If anyone is looking for a book for the About task with a bridge on the cover, I just finished listening to The Toll The Toll by Cherie Priest .

It was not scary at all, and had some very funny character dialogue. The book is narrated by T. Ryder Smith and his "southern" accent is a hoot.

Hopefully, you can get it back and find a copy of the book. I really liked it.

Camilla | 2118 comments Is there enough of the Golden Gate bridge visible here to work for the "Read a book with a bridge on the cover or "bridge" in the title task"? If not, I have several other options, I'm just reading this randomly - e.g. not for any challenge - and noticed the cover.

A Beginning at the End by Mike Chen

Yes, I'll accept it.
