I thought they definitely got worse. Insurgent was bad and Allegiant was terrible. This series also had some of the worst worldbuilding I've ever seen. The first book was just mindless fun, but after that....

- Did the books get better or worse towards the end? Worse (haven't read Insurance or Allergies, but I heard they suck so worse)
- Was the worldbuilding actually that bad? Hmm...the idea of the factions was quite interesting, but there were several problems.
1) Everyone has more than one personality trait. It's just a fact.
2) So if everyone has more than one personality trait, the idea of factions makes no sense whatsoever
3) Dauntless are supposed to protect the city from unknown dangers outside Chicago, but what exactly were those dangers?
4) We didn't get much of a glimpse at what the world actually was, or anything like that. All we got to see inside was the Dauntless compound, but I feel like more of Chicago as a whole would've been nice.
- Thoughts on Four/Tris? This ship sucks. I mean, it was fine at first, but...
