Our First Question!
What were/are your initial thoughts before picking up the book?

I'd say I am quite excited. This seems like a new type of suspense, or thriller if you know what I mean. I always like books with a crew (SoC reference :D) and detentions (know the movie Super Detention?). Oh, and don't forget secrets! :D

I really liked this book. When I first read about it looked so interesting. It definitely did not let me down. The ending really shook me and it was something I did not expect at all.

Oh? Then I'm super excited!

Oh this book is just amazing. The ending gave me chills, I couldn't even have imagined that (view spoiler)[Simon committed suicide and killed himself! I always thought there was something fishy with Jack (I think that's what Addy's ex-boyfriend's name was?) but not so fishy that he could literally do something as disgusting as that. Also, am I the only one who kinda shipped Cooper and Addy in the beginning? Like before we get to know that Cooper is gay obviously. Especially every time she was with Jack and Cooper at the same time, I was like, ugh Jack go away I don't get very good vibes from you. (hide spoiler)]

Oh and also, this author's new book The Cousins is released just today! I really want to read it...

I don't think I'll read this book this month. I just answered this question as it is one I can answer without reading the book(is it allowed? i mean, can i post something on this thread if i've no plan of reading this soon?)

Sure, you can post your thoughts! That's why I started with this question :D

I think, when I picked up this book, I was super excited because of the blurb. Because I obviously love YA, and I also love suspense thrillers like Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes... this pretty much looked like a combination, so I couldn't wait to read it!! And I did love it. I think I predicted the killer, like, when I saw their Post-its? But it was still so exciting and intriguing learning exactly how it was done, and oh, (view spoiler)[ I hate Jake with a passion!! I did get control freak vibes from him, but murder? That's a whole other level.. (hide spoiler)] So yeah, if you like group dynamics, you're pretty much guaranteed to enjoy it :)

I am really excited to read this! The blurb sounded quite interesting.

Is this a genre that you normally read? If so, what are your expectations?

I'd say I have read thrillers and mysteries, but not this kind. I really think the answer is not predictable, I've not read a good mystery for days! :D

Well, I do read mystery and suspense novels, but not one with YA protagonists... so yeah, by the ratings, I was hoping this would be a five-star read for me, and it did not disappoint!! :D

I highly enjoyed this novel, and it’s one of my favourite murder mysteries. It had great writing, great characters and was incredibly unpredictable. The sequel was a let-down for me sadly, but I’m hoping to try some more of the author’s books in future! :)

I read the book a few months ago and I absolutely LOVED it and I DO recommend it!! I did NOT expect the ending.

I've started reading, and I have to say, it is very interesting. Can't wait to continue.

Nope, I was really surprised! It was something I had considered, but never really gave much thought to happening.

I had definitely not thought of that ending! (view spoiler)[Jake always freaked me out, so I kind of expected him to have been the one who killed Simon. Not that Simon killed himself! (hide spoiler)]

I finished it and I thought it was coming. But then the way it was executed is so nice!

I loved Addy and how she learned how to be herself. Thanks to Ashton. <3

As I said I did see the ending coming, but not in that way. I didn't know the 4chans had to do something with it!!
