Mairéad | 48 comments The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater Lair of Dreams (The Diviners, #2) by Libba Bray Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer, #1) by Laini Taylor

I feel like I have to add Dream Thieves for Kayla!

Not sure if I'll get to all three in one week, but these three are all on my physical TBR!

message 9: by Mairéad (new)

Mairéad | 48 comments Would anyone be interested in a discord group? We could talk about what we are reading, our recommendations and have channels for buddy reads?

I've never made one before but I would be open to making one if people were interested (as long as @lala doesn't mind?)

message 13: by Hailee (last edited Dec 02, 2020 12:40PM) (new)

Hailee | 7 comments I'll most likely be reading The City of Dreaming Books (Zamonien, #4) by Walter Moers since my pre-ordered paperback copy of Where Dreams Descend: A Novel won't be here until June 2021

Either that or I'll read The Killing Moon (Dreamblood, #1) by N.K. Jemisin and The Shadowed Sun (Dreamblood, #2) by N.K. Jemisin which make up The Dreamblood Duology

message 14: by Syd (last edited Dec 02, 2020 09:39AM) (new)

Syd (sydsbookshelves) | 3 comments In January I want to read these two books with "Dream" in the tittle:
In an Absent Dream (Wayward Children, #4) by Seanan McGuire In an Absent Dream
In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado In the Dream House

I also would really like to read this series:
Preludes & Nocturnes (The Sandman, #1) by Neil Gaiman Preludes & Nocturnes
The whole series is about dreams and the main character's name is "Dream" also Vol. 3 has "Dream" in the tittle, so we are making it work!

Should add Brown Girl Dreaming to this too, definitely.

I really want to read Dust of Dreams, but it's the ninth book in a series and I'm on the fifth so we'll see if I can get to it in time.

ElizabethAnne | 4 comments I have (as usual) an unrealistic TBR. I am going to try to get as many of these read in the first week as possible but also work on the rest throughout the month.

Audrey (audreysides) In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker Number9Dream by David Mitchell Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson

Will 100% not hit all of them in the first week (especially considering I will be doing the biggest move of my life) but I like this as a Jan TBR and I'm excited to see how this goes!

message 27: by Maris (last edited Dec 03, 2020 04:23AM) (new)

Maris (maristocratic) | 13 comments My potential TBR for January is
Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer, #1) by Laini Taylor The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker Where Dreams Descend (Kingdom of Cards, #1) by Janella Angeles In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado We Dream of Space by Erin Entrada Kelly

Definitely not gonna achieve them all, but maybe tick of 2-3?

message 28: by Michelle (new)

Michelle My plan is to read the shortest book in my TBR that satisfies the prompt the first week of each month. Whatever that may be. January will be Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? which I'm excited about cuz I've been wanting to read more sci-fi classics.

This is my only book with "dream" so it looks like it's finally meant to be that I pick this up.. it's been on my shelf for toooo long!

Monique the Book Geek (moniquethebookgeek) | 11 comments Dreams and Visions Understanding and Interpreting God's Messages to You by Jane Hamon
Dreams and Visions... - I believe this is the only book I own that has the word “dream” in the title, and I haven’t read it yet, so I’ll be reading it in the first week of January. 🙂

The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater A Dream So Dark (Nightmare-Verse, #2) by L.L. McKinney Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer, #1) by Laini Taylor In an Absent Dream (Wayward Children, #4) by Seanan McGuire

Trying to decide between these three!!!

message 35: by Rally (new)

Rally how are people posting the little pics of books?

message 36: by Juliana (new)

Juliana Puccini | 2 comments You have to use a computer to do it. But when you go to make a comment, there is an option to "add book/author" right above the text box. You click that, search the book you want and at the bottom, where it says "link" and "cover," you choose the "cover" option.

Chiara.L | 13 comments I want to read Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer, #1) by Laini Taylor with the group here in the buzzwordathon world xD.

Then I'd like to read The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater . I've already started "the raven boys".

I'm not sure if I'll be able to read both of those in the first week of the month, but maybe I'll do a thematic month reading challenge. In which case I probably will try
Dream a Little Dream (The Silver Trilogy, #1) by Kerstin Gier Dreamology by Lucy Keating
