My daughter wants her own set of Mistborn Era 1 for Christmas. Amazon has two versions that look very similar, and a lot of the reviews say the binding is poorly done. Does anyone have any experience with them? (My own set is the UK covers, which I don't see anymore.)

I have a hard backed and paper back copy of The Final Empire. The hard backed binding works very well. The paper back is still holding but had worn down with relatively little use.

I have the hardback editions that can be found on Book Depository (such as this one: https://www.bookdepository.com/Final-...). They seem to be holding out quite well. Love the look of them, too!
Those are cool; I haven't seen that design before.
If you check out his website you can get signed and leather bound copies and they have the 10 year anniversary U.K. editions as well out there that are really beautiful
I don't want to spend THAT much on my teen. :D
