I am sorry about this. I copied the link posted by Janice in the Help section of Museum 1. I was under the impression it would work here also.

I thought a painting in the Museum could work for an Interactive task.

What sort of the items should I use and how do I get the links that could work for the challenge? I am sorry that I am not able to understand the task. Could you please help me with this?

Thanks.

Viji | 1647 comments Could this exhibit work for the Interactive Challenge for Museum 1:

If so, I would change my task for this picture.

Thanks.

I hope my task is allowable. Thanks.

Would this image and task could be used for the interactive task for Museum 2?

I used a different website and want to be sure if the link works. Thanks.

That's what happened! If you copy a link from someone's message, chances are the link has been truncated. Best thing to do is click on the link so that you are on the actual webpage and then copy the URL.

Viji, please in future post your questions in the help thread for interactive tasks. That way everyone can benefit from it. Often members don't go to other members' challenge threads. Someone might see your picture and want to borrow it using a different task.

In answer to your question the link works, and using chalice or cup on the cover will work.

Thanks, Peggy. I am slowly getting the hang of it. I tried another website and posted the link and the interactive task relating to
Museum 2: Museum of the Royal Tombs of Sipán in Chiclayo, Peru

Could you pl. check if I have done it properly? If this is alright, I will continue to work on other Museums for Badge 1.

Is there any thread for posting the Interactive Tasks or is it alright if I post the Interactive tasks in my own thread as in my Msg. #15 above?

It is really nice of you to have checked my first task and pointed out where I had gone wrong. How do I get to know that the image chosen by me and the task created for that image are valid? If any mistakes are made by me, how that would be pointed out for correction. Thanks.

Thanks, Janice. I was under the impression that I was the only one who is having the problem with the links. I got lot of help from other members when I addressed this issue in the help thread.

My interactive task and link for Museum 1 had a problem which Peggy was kind enough to help me with and I set it right. I tried another link for Museum 2 and wanted to be sure if I had done it alright this time. I did not know that I could post this in the help thread for interactive tasks. I will hereafter start posting my queries relating to Interactive tasks in the help thread as suggested by you.

Thanks.

message 28: by Kristie, Moderator (new)

Kristie | 20133 comments Viji, I think Janice was referring to the questions about which pictures and tasks work for the interactive tasks, not the link issues. If you want to post a link to a picture or have a question about if a task fits the picture or book fits the task, the interactive thread is the best place to post to make sure everyone sees it.

Link is here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Your links all seem to be working now. :)

Oops, sorry. Am in the habit of adding covers and tried to be very conscious of not adding covers on reading your instructions. This is how I ended up!! hahahaha. Would be more careful in future.

I added the cover by editing my post (msg. #44). I hope it is alright. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
