Nalo Hopkinson has been named the 37th Damon Knight Grand Master by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America. Hopkinson, who was born in Jamaica, is the author of three story collections and six novels, including her award-winning debut, “Brown Girl in the Ring”. She is the first woman of color to be named a Damon Knight Grand Master.
