Post your ideas on books we should read. As people suggest books, I will add them to the 2nd post in this topic.

You can see the 2020 suggestions thread here if you are looking for ideas: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

General Guidelines:
1) We try to keep page count to under 400
2) Ideally book should be available in paperback

We do read longer reads in December/January so if you do have longer book ideas feel free to post them.

Authors: please resist the urge to suggest your own book in this thread. We do have a Author Promotion discussion section if you would like to post there.

Conjure Women by Afia Atakora
A Black Women's History of the United States

Thans Michele. I've added those suggestions to the master list in the 2nd post. We've already read American Marriage and Between the World and Me as a group so I left those off. They were both great books, in my opinion.

I’m open to anything that’s not teaching pedagogy or critical praxis etc.

Kylee Hagler | 1 comments I’m new to this group :) I’d also be interested in tackling The Heart’s Invisible Furies, as it’s been on my shelf for a while.
