In the book “Ban this Book” by Alan Gratz fourth-grader Amy Anne Ollinger gets a surprise that would soon change her life. Amy Ollinger is a fourth grader that is obsessed with reading. She uses reading as a way to escape things, like her parents who only pay attention to her younger siblings and just the normal struggles of her fourth-grade life. It all started going downhill when Amy Anne went to go get her favorite book from the school library From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, their librarian Mrs. Jones told her it had been banned from the shelves!
