Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo is #88 on our 100 list and a group read for December 2020. Johnny Got His Gun is an anti-war novel published in 1939 and later adapted into the 1971 film, which was directed by the author. Have you read this book or seen the film? What did you think?

I read this book in high school. It is still one of my favorite books ever!
Loved the book. The movie was very good. The ending of the book is just heartbreaking, but very real. Very powerful for such a short book.
