I think I’m going to join this! I tried reading Outlander previously, but set it down around 20% when I got distracted by other things. I’ve been meaning to pick it back up again.
yes! I have been wanting to read this. Sadly my library only has the first book. After the book i can also finally watch the series.I will probably start in february.
I've tried reading this twice. But now i have the audiobook so maybe this time I can make it through more then 20%?
I started this one a few months ago, but my attention has been shorter these days (mostly due to everything that is going on!) I look forward to picking back up.
I think I can join in this read. I was not a fan of her later works (those I read so far) but I enjoyed this book the first time I read it.
I've read the first 2 in the series and have watched all the seasons of the show. Hope you guys enjoy it. PS - the audiobooks are well done too.
I’m joining. I’ve been wanting to read this series and just keep putting it off. I’ve never read with this group before so I’m excited
I will be joining on this read. I’m new to the club so I’m super thrilled about the choice and I cant wait to read it!
I just joined this group recently, and I will join in on this read. I'm not usually a fan of romance books...so we will see how it goes! :)
I started reading and am already halfway! :) anyone else who has started already? I have a first question and that is, what do you think of Claire as the main character? I have mixed feelings about her :) curious what you guys think!
Hi Britt, head over to the in-depth discussion for those who have started reading and don't mind spoilers. I won't be re-reading this book - I have an opinion for sure - and am looking forward to what you all think about it!
I am in Part 3 of the book. Heads up, the pace picks up mid-way thru Part 1. Also, be advised there is a lot of broken English and some Scottish/period slang. Personally, I have found my Kindle very handy.
I have picked up this book from my library and I'm going to read it. I never read it before...so I'll see how it goes. Hopefully I'll like it.
Im on page 231, chapter 17, and really loving it! This is a very easy to read book with a smooth flowing story. 😀 I'll post on the other thread after I finish, as I don't want any spoilers.
Everyone has read this but me!!! Seriously, I decided to join in because it has been on my list for awhile. I signed out the audio version and i have downloaded it on my kindle. So far so good!
I'm super excited to read this one as it has been one I've wanted to get to for a long time. I'm only about 20% through it so far, but loving it and aside from needing to speed up my reading a bit, I look forward to finishing this, hopefully, this month.
I am about one third in and having fun. I feel there are many small things that are wrong, such as getting lost somewhere bfcause she is unfamiliar with the place while she must have been there almost daily. But who cares, i just focus on the plot and loving it. I also started the series on Netflix, now i finally can. Just make sure i dont get ahead of the book.
I'm excited to start this one! Our local library has the audio book available on their app, and I just checked it out! Excited to start listening this evening.
