BookBub is a free service that helps readers find book recommendations based on their preferred reading choices. Which one are you reading?

Of course! We have a GR Listopia for every prompt, there's a master list above this post in the Discussions or you can search it, they all start with "52 Book Club 2021" or you can also google BookBub lists and browse their blog and other things without needing a membership.

I read How the Dukes Stole Christmas. As with most anthologies, I had mixed reactions to the various entries. Enjoyed the first and last entries (Meet Me in Mayfair by Tessa Dare & Christmas in Central Park by Joanna Shupe - the Shupe because it was a riff on my fave Christmas movie "A Christmas in Connecticutt") but didn't really care as much for The Duke of Christmas Present by Sarah MacLean or Heiress Alone by Sophie Jordan. The premise of Heiress Alone could have been fun but the duke was a jerk who didn't redeem himself in my eyes.

Seaturtle | 1 comments I don’t want to subscribe to BookBub. BookBub is the only thing that comes up when I google BookBub lists. On the master list, when I do prompt 38, a pop up comes up to subscribe to something (BookBub? I can’t see the top) and I cannot see the list. Any help?

You don't have to subscribe to Bookbub, you should still be able to search the lists. When I search for it I can ignore the "enter your email" at the top and scroll down to see the lists underneath. What genre do you like? I can try to pinpoint a specific one for you. The link on the master list takes you to our Challenge Guide on our website, you have the option to click the X and not subscribe there either.

I admit I’m quite pleased I got this one done and can unsubscribe from Book Bub now!

Just finished reading: "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak (★★★★★), is a historical fiction, young adult novel written Markus Zusak. It is a story narrated by Death, which follows Liesel Meminger – the titular book thief as she comes of age in Nazi Germany during World War II.

As I do not have a BookBub account, I simply followed the link: "56 Books and Novels That Everyone Should Read in Their Lifetime" and choose this book before the page blurred.

Zusak's playfulness with language leavens the horror and makes the theme even more resonant as words can save one's life. The writing is elegant, philosophical and moving. Even at its length, it's a work to read slowly and savor.
