I never read Practical Magic but I looooove the movie. The movie does reference the Owens descendant that passed on the magical curse.....and has a little showing of the men who loved her lol. I wonder if the Magic Lessons will get into that. We shall see.

This is just a spoiler-free place to chat about it before or as we read. No plot or spoilers please. We will start officially chatting about the book in mid-January so no rush! 😀

I will say the night before last I stayed up an extra hour to read the first two chapters and I’m hooked. Looking forward to some downtime these next few days!

I am trying to finish up Valley of the Horses by Jean Auel but it just went from "Woman Who Runs with Wolves" to a really cheesy Harlequin story. Blahhh...if they would just hurry up and get it on already!!

I also thought I could squeeze in Illuminae Vol 1 because the format make it looked like a quick read....which it kinda is but I didn't have the forethought to think the holidays would take up my time too lol

Then there's a couple non-fiction but those are always grinding on their own in the background.

I plan on starting our club read by New Years :)

Hello! Just downloaded the book tonight now that holiday festivities are over. Hoping I can keep up while working and being in school!

I’m pretty excited about this book. I love Practical Magic. The movie that is. Never read the book but I might depending on how much I like this one.
