Kate:
Kate grins as she watches Avery spin. People we entering the ballroom eagerly. Waiters with last-minute hours d' oeuvres walking around the room.

A small pang of guilt filled her for the staff. But it quickly left when she saw the smile on Avery's lips.

Tristen:
Tristen sighed as he walked into the ballroom. He hadn't expected there to be a mandatory party. He was glad that Juno packed him the extra disguises, or else he wouldn't be wearing the suit.

He leaned against the watched the passengers carefully. His face a cool mask of calm and indifference.

Kate:
Kate giggles as she watches Avery smile. ´She is practically glowing at this point’ she thinks.

Tristen:
As his eyes scan the room, something catchs his eye. A girl, twirling in a sparkling dress. When she stops spinning her realizes that he’s been looking at Avery. He looks away, scared that he might have been caught staring.

Kate:
Kates looks at Avery. "Are you having a good time?" She asks as she takes a glass of water from the table.

Kate:
Kate looks over at Tristen. He hasn't moved since he arrived. And she would bet a thousand dollars he's already seen, Avery. She looked over at Avery with a smile. "I will be right back." She says as she puts her water down.

She walks over to Tristen, making sure Avery didn't see where she had gone.

Tristen:
An angry-looking fifteen-year-old makes her way towards him. Tristen pretends not to notice, his eyes looking the other way. He almost thinks that she left until he feels a stabbing pain in his side.

The girl had elbowed him in the side. 'What the heck?' He wanted to yell at her. His mask of bordem changing to one of anger. "What was that for." He asked her.

"Go talk to her." She said before walking away, blending into the crowd.

Tristen hesitates, but only for a second before grabbing her hand. "Um... Can we talk." He says, rubbing the back of his neck with his other hand. He doesn't look her in the eyes though, because then he might blush or something. And he was not going to blush.

He was glad that he had asked Wyatt to board the ship at their next pit stop (Which was in an hour). He was going to need him if he was going to survive the next day.

((How long is an hour? If it's a full hour I'll be asleep, lol))

((I'm going to bed gn. I won't be on very often tomorrow but I'll try.))

"Im sorry about earlier." He says. "I’ve been preoccupied lately." He had been busy, going from planet to planet. He had been getting important intel for Reflection.

But Avery left, she didn’t even tell him about it. She just disappeared one day from the base. She didn’t leave any sort of way to contact her. He thought that she didn’t want to see him again.

Valor walked in to find some better food.

Kate:
Kate walks around, talking to random passengers and drinking her water. She still hadn’t found where Avery had gone. She hoped it was to talk to Tristen.

She had elbowed him, telling him to do exactly that.

Valor walked up the food. He grabbed a sandwich, turkey ham and cheese. He took a bite.

Valor saw a seat and walked over to it, sitting down.

"By who?" He asked curiously. It was probably by who she left with. But her having not told him about leaving, he didn’t even know who she left with.

You usually don’t leave a rebellion without lots of difficulty. But she just disappeared. And he wanted to hate her for it.

He had looked for her for an entire year. But gave up hope when he kept running into dead ends.

Valor watched the people, most of them were dancing, others were standing and talking. If anyone stuck out, it was him.

Tristen wasn’t good at this stuff, conversation. Wyatt would have probably already been friends with her again. But Wyatt wasn’t here. And it was him and Avery talking.

"I don’t know." He confessed. "I just wanted to talk." ‘At least once, before I have to go on another mission.’ He thought

Valor watched the pasnegers carefully, at any moment something bad could happen.

"So, what have you been up to?" He asks her. If they were going to be friends again, he needed to start with getting to know her again.

Now that they were talking it wouldn’t be awkward to look at her. He noticed her emerald eyes first, they had always been striking, but even more so tonight. And the light made her look like she was sparkling. She looked good, really good.

‘But we are just friends.’ He thought ‘She probably just wants to be friends.’

Valor was still on edge from the man, he couldn't help wondering if there was someone else in with the plan.

Kate walked around the ballroom. Looking for Avery, hoping that she was having maybe a romantic heart to heart with Tristen. She was definitely going to make Avery tell her everything when they got back to the cabin.

Valor saw Kate. "Isn't that the Captain?" He thought, the two of them looked pretty similar.

Tristen:
He smiled a bit when she said she had become a doctor. She had always wanted to be one, using her stuffed animals as patients and ordering him to get her supplies.

When she asked him about girls he scoffed. "I don't have time for things like that." He said. It was half the truth, but it was more because he didn't try.

Kate:
Kate tried to steal a glass of wine off of a tray but failed. The waiter stealing it back. She pouted, Avery would have stolen one for her.

Speaking of Avery, where is she?

Tristen:
Tristen frowns what she mentions reflection. "Juno and me are trying. The radicals aren't making it easy though." He explained vaguely. "As for Wyatt, nothing different really. You'd think a guy would grow up, but clearly, he has other plans." He joked. Wyatt was the same he had always known him. goofing off and lying his way through everything. It didn't help that Tristen was in charge, Wyatt used it as an excuse to get out of everything.

Tristen:
What?
Tristen was confused on why should couldn't help. She just left, she could come back anytime. Or just help out from time to time. But he quickly abandoned the thought when she asked him to dance

This is a bad idea, you should be focusing on the mission. Not dancing with Avery

"Sure." He said ignoring his conscious and held out his hand. Aandoning his emotionaless mask, he let a grin show.

Tristen:
Tristen held her as they glided across the ballroom. Staring at the wide smile and happy expression on her face.

She looks beautiful

Valor got up, he drew attention because of his clothing and age.

Kate:
Kate looked at the boy who had just gotten up. Though he didn't look like a boy, he wasn't one of the usual rich passengers either. She walked over to him curiously.

"Who are you?" She asked.

Tristen:
Tristen looks away nervously as she looks at him. He wished she would have stayed on Voltor. Then they wouldn't be having this awkward reunion.

And you might have got up the courage to ask her out in that time.

((I dont know. I feel like he should make her sad again. Because he just can't get it right XD. Then he would go and apologize the next day. Any other ideas than mine?))

Valor looked at the girl and walked over. “I am officer Valor.” He said.

Tristen:
Tristen looks back at Avery, unsure of what to say. This was maybe the last time they were going to see each other if they didn't bump into each other tomorrow.

Maybe I could ask her out. But what if she doesn't want to date the leader of a rebellion. She probably left because she didn't want to be associated with rebels.

((Sorry made myself a pizza XD))

Kate:
Kate looked at him. "Aren't you a little young to be an officer?" She asked, crossing her arms in front of her.

Though she should know that you're never too young for anything. If her sister and Avery were any indication.

Valor looked at the girl. "I've been serving in the military since I was 15." He said.

Kate:
"Jeez, I couldn't imagine joining the military now." She said with a frown. "Plus, guns don't help anyone." She had always been for peace, though this peace had to be fair for everyone.

Unlike what they were doing to the people of Voltor. That's completely unfair.

Tristen:
The song ended and wondered what to say. Standing awkwardly in front of her. He put his hands in his pockets and looked at her. "Thanks for the dance." He said.

Stupid me.

Valor looked at the other people with the girl. "I never said guns help, I have ended peoples lives yes, but I'm hunted by the thought that there blood was on my hands."

Kate:
"Well, I wish you luck. If you ever need someone to murder someone for you, just ask Astra. She could become a serial killer if she really wanted to." She joked, smiling. Though it probably could happen. Astra didn't have much remorse and was great at blackmailing officials.

Valor looked back at her. "I can kill perfectly well myself." He said as he turned and walked away.

Tristen:
Tristen puts back his emotionless mask, not wanting to show his emotions anymore.

At least you showed them, maybe she won't think you a robot

"Goodnight Avery." He said as he walked back into the crowd.

((If you're on Ellen now would be the time for them to meet up in cabin 2))

Kate:
Kate laughed as Avery approached her. Her sudden joy quickly escaping as she looked at her expression.

"Let's head back into the cabin." She suggested as she took Avery's hand. If that boy hurt her again, so help him, she was going to get Astra to murder him.
