If anyone needs help with this one and doesn’t necessarily want to read a book of poems, Ellen Hopkins wires some really good books in verse. I had never read a modern book written in verse before I read Crank in high school. For this one though, for me I’m gonna pick the Poet X which will also fill the LatinX author prompt. It’s been on my TBR for a while so I’m excited to read it.

I read The Poet X last year and just read Clap When You Land by the same author for Latinx author prompt lol which would've worked for this prompt too!!

One is also written in verse. In our local book club we have poetry challenge so I'll read more than one :)
