How does one promote ideas and others? I propose a surge of online or In person promotion of each other and each others reading and writing. Who will join me This December to post and repost, promote and pass on the books and writers within this group. Promotion is fundamental Castle Ministries Lewolkien idea.

Goodreads actually tracks the popularity of books by just putting a book on your "to read" shelf. Of course, reading it and leaving a review help even more.

If you have not done so, you can add Maynard's books to your shelf and then read them and leave a review:

Mercy and Truth: 101 Musings of an Ancient Educator
Growing Old is not For Everybody: Aging Strategies for the Stouthearted
Harnessing the Devil

His last one, which I'll admit is a bit more scholarly and may have less appeal has no reviews or ratings.

His first book, 101 Musings, which is wonderful, has only 2 reviews.

Surely we can help him out a little?

Also, even better than reviews on Goodreads, are reviews on Amazon where books are actually bought. A review there means so much to an author. Almost every time I get a review I see an increase in sales. It really does make a difference if we want to promote the worthy thoughts of writers and thinkers.

I'll add
Into the Vast
The Last Motley
The Spirit of Caledonia

Caledonia is free on kindle. Great place to post a review for DJ. I enjoyed the Last Motley and intend to read these other two and give reviews. We can give a good nod to all of these. I plan to give both Maynard and DJ's Books out for Christmas.

Elvis | 2 comments This sounds like a great idea. I’ll see what I can do to read these and review them on here and elsewhere. Warning: I’m a slow reader.

On another topic: I have a few ideas for books. Once I’ve written one, what are the next steps for getting it published?

Elvis, We all have consulted DJ Edwardson. He has done great work for helping us figure out the independent author scene. He has a small publishing work called giraffics media. I think he did the Nordmoe books for a small fee? Feel free to reach out to him.
