It was made from 1999-2002, so it's been a while since it came out. Last I checked it was on YouTube and there are some DVDs of it out there but they can be pricey. It's well worth checking out though as it's very well done. The first season strays the most from the book but they really hit their stride in the last two.
The DVDs are expensive, but I remember finding it online to stream somewhere a handful of years back. No promises it’s still out there tho.
I was also introudced to the series through the show. Fair warning though, it does take some creative liberties from the books. I found the 2nd season (Matimeo) the most enjoyable. The full feature is available on YouTube, here's a link to an organized playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbUe_...

It was good for the time, but they could do better animation now. The only thing I didn’t care for was the stop tapestry parts.
I've heard there's a netflix film in the works, I'm interested how that will turn out. As for the tv series I haven't seen it, the whole thing seems to be on archive.org though so I might sit down and watch it at some point. It totally seems like the kind of thing I would have watched on public broadcast when I was younger.(don't mind me, just replying to a year old thread lol)

As for me, it was how I discovered Redwall in the first place. One night I turned on the TV and the first Mattimeo episode was on PBS. I've always loved rodent fantasy like An American Tail and The Secret of NIMH, so I was immediately enthralled.
