Another great addition to the series. I loved how we learnt more about other residents and that it was quick paced.
Book 3: Wretched Wool by Mildred Abbott5 Stars
Perfect, loved it, would be okay (but sad) if this was the last book of the series. I loved the continuation from the last book and how the story unfolded. If there are more in the series, I will happily read them. Love this series.
Book 4: Whose Body? by Dorothy L. Sayers1 Star
I am not a fan. I don't think it lasted the test of time, and I had a hard time relating and getting into it. Maybe it was just me.
Book 5: Clouds of Witness by Dorothy L. Sayers2 Stars
Much more enjoyable than the first in the series but still the series (or writer) is not for me.
Book 6: A Glazed Finish by Eryn Scott4 Stars
It was great to get back into the Stoney Brook mystery series. I love these characters and it's such a simple, pleasant read. Exactly what I love in a cozy!

I wasn't sure what to expect and I believe that's why it sat on my shelf so long after buying the book. I fell in love with Nocturne Falls and the Winter Princess herself. Can't wait to dive into the next one!
Book 9: Miss Frost Ices The Imp : A Nocturne Falls Mystery by Kristen Painter4 Stars
I am really enjoying this series. Easy to get into and loving the town and characters. I love the mix of Halloween and Christmas and the ease/flow of the storyline.
Book 10: Miss Frost Saves The Sandman: A Nocturne Falls Mystery by Kristen Painter4 Stars
I find this series perfectly light, engaging, and quick to read. I love the town of Nocturne Falls and the individuals within it .
Book 11: Miss Frost Cracks A Caper by Kristen Painter4 Stars
This was a lovely edition. Got to meet some new characters and learn more of some old. Loved the interaction of the characters and really interested in seeing what else they can get up to!
Book 12: Miss Frost Braves the Blizzard by Kristen Painter4 Stars
This was one of my favourites so far. We got out of the store and got to see a bit more into the Winter Elf magic. I love where the storyline is headed. Can't wait to see if it goes that direction!
Book 13: Miss Frost Chills The Cheater by Kristen Painter5 Stars
My favourite in the series thus far. We finally got to spend time at the North Pole and get a glimpse of life there. The story captured everything I look for, quite happy to finish it in one sitting.
Book 14: Miss Frost Says I Do by Kristen Painter4 Stars
Loved this series, and this story brought back all the wonder and magic of the North Pole. I keep hoping for another, we shall see!

I love this series, kind of crazy that it has all happened in a 3-4 year time span but I love it. Can't wait for the next adventure.
Also - its nice to see even after 21 books in the series that I am still fully into it and loving the storyline!
Book 17: Pumpkins in Paradise by Kathi Daley3 Stars
A bit of a slow start for me. I have loved a few of Kathy Daley's other series so I had high expectations. I came around in the end so will finish reading the series but really want to see her find her flow quick.
From what I can see this was either her first or second book written so I think I will love the series soon based on previous experience and where her writing style has been taken too.
Book 18: Snowmen in Paradise by Kathi Daley4 Stars
Definite improvement from book 1 to 2. I have quickly fallen in love with TJ, her sisters and all her friends and family. Mystery was good, lots is suspects, a hint of danger, overall fun times.
Book 19: Bikinis in Paradise by Kathi Daley4 stars
I enjoyed this installment. Got to meet more towns people, focused in on TJ and the resort. Overall good read
Book 20: Christmas in Paradise by Kathi Daley4 Stars
I enjoyed this one, Christmas in Paradise was lovely to see and I enjoyed the relationships building.
Book 21: Puppies in Paradise by Kathi Daley4 Stars
Good, kind of odd how they skipped over some of the cliffhangers from the last book. Hoping they address them in the next.
Book 22: Halloween in Paradise by Kathi Daley4 Stars
I quite enjoyed this one, the gang joins together to solve a 10 year old cold case. It was fun learning about their past and seeing how it entwines with the present. Still want more from the Jordan storyline so really hoping that comes back in soon.
Book 23: Treasure in Paradise by Kathi Daley4 Stars
It took me a bit to get into this one, seemed to skip alot of potential back story. I did get over it though and loved it in the end.
Book 24: Fireworks in Paradise by Kathi Daley4 Stars
I quite liked this one. I enjoyed the personal story development and the actual mystery.
Book 25: Beaches in Paradise by Kathi Daley4 Stars
This was an okay one, liked the story development, the mystery was so-so.
Book 26: Thanksgiving in Paradise by Kathi Daley4 Stars
I wasn't sure if I would like the end of this series based on where the story headed. But I honestly feel good and overall really enjoyed this series.
Book 27: Details in the Document by Kathi Daley4 Stars
This was a short glimpse into the lives on the bay. Good story, not a lot of character development for what I wanted but little pushes forward where good.
Book 28: Clue in the Clam by Kathi Daley4 Stars
A good read, some interesting setup/ intro to another series. Overall mystery was entertaining although not my favourite.
Book 29: Scones and Scandal by Agatha Frost4 Stars
A good read, not my favourite but still entertaining. I prefer the straight Julia and Jessie view point vs Dot's as well.
Book 30: Jaded Jewels by Mildred Abbott4 Stars
I really enjoyed this one. Classic Fred and Watson tale with a lovely growth of the relationships in the town.

Book 31: First Case by Kathi Daley3 Stars
This has been my least favourite series starter by Kathi Daley yet. I came around in the end and I am looking forward to book 2, but I didn't instantly fall in love with the main characters the way I normally do.
Book 32: Second Look by Kathi Daley3 Stars
I am not fully in love with this series but it's slowly hooking me...going in for the 3rd in the series.
Book 33: Third Strike by Kathi Daley3 Stars
Getting there, almost 4 stars. I am starting to get invested in the characters and their outcomes. The mystery was okay, seemed like a bit of a stretch at first but I got into it in the end.
Book 34: Fourth Victim- by Kathi Daley4 Stars
Okay, each book in the series has gotten better and I am definitely hooked. This time around the team is solving a love letter / serial killer potential copycat from 40 years ago. Different for them and entertaining over the Christmas time when it takes place.
Book 35: Fifth Night by Kathi Daley4 Stars
I am into the series now, keep starting right after I stop, helps that each book is only a few weeks or days apart in some cases. A lot happening on the island, falling into like with the characters. Enjoyable
Book 39: Portent in the Pages by Kathi Daley4 Stars
Another good installment of The Inn on Holiday Bay.
Book 40: Photo, Snap, Shot by Joanna Campbell Slan4 Stars
This one really pulled me in by the end. I was caught off-guard with some of the storyline but it really did bring it all together and highlight some parts of the US that I knew were there but not potentially the inner workings.
