Dawn walks down the sidewalk with Mr.Cheshire's cage held firmly in her hand. She looks down at the cat, happy that she found him at the station.
Don't ever do that to me again cat
Don't ever do that to me again cat
Vulpa glanced over at a blonde haired girl pushing her way through the thick crowd. She hid a smile, then started walking towards her.As they passed, she slid a bracelet off of the girl's wrist while she was looking down at the cat in a crate held by her other hand.
Then, she started to move quicker through the crowd and made a beeline for the nearest alley.
Dawn felt a small pressure on her right hand. She was about to swat away whatever thing had scrapped her wrist but realized her bracelet was one.
What? Did I leave it at the Station?
She looked around franticly.

She looked around franticly.
Vulpa paused and glanced back at the girl. She looks like someone just killed her cat. She almost scoffed. People got so attached to useless things like bracelets. She didn't get the point of it.
She spun the bracelet around on her finger and slowed her pace until she was walking, then gripped the bracelet tightly in her hand so that no one could steal it away from her.
Dawn sighs. The bracelet wasn't going to be found now, plus she could just get another one from the store. It only annoyed her that someone had the audacity to steal from her.
And that they did it so well
And that they did it so well
((Lol, dawn is more of an I'm offended but other than that I don't care kinda girl. Also, she was so in her bubble she didn't even see who stole it Lol))
Dawn frowns as she continues her way. Looking around at people's wrists, holding on to a string of hope that she could spot the perpetrator.

Vulpa paused to study the bracelet, then frowned. This girl definitely has more than just this. The craftsmanship is... well, almost beautiful, I guess. She rolled her eyes, then turned around to start following the girl from a distance.
Dawn walks through the streets, slowly stopping to look at other people's wrists.
No point anymore
She rounds a corner and looks at an art storefront. Maybe she could buy herself some paint while she was downtown.

She paused by the corner and glanced around to to study the girl. She certainly looked better off then most of the people in Genesis. The poor people people anyway. She turned around quickly to swat at a hand reaching for the bracelet in her hand.
"Mine." Vulpa hissed at him. He held up his hands in surprise and quickly backed off. She turned back to watch the girl.
Dawn turned abruptly to the sound of a hiss. She then spotted a girl with red hair... Holding her braclet!
Your not getting away that easy
Dawn quickly moved towards the girl, weaving through the crowds.

Her eyes widened as the blonde-haired girl started moving towards her.Crap. You're loosing your touch Vulpa. She narrowed her eyes, then quickly moved away from the shop and ducked past people.
She made her way back towards the alley and scanned the walls. A dirty ladder was clinging to a shop, so she started hurriedly climbing up it after sliding the bracelet onto her wrist.
((Kk))
Dawn quickly squeezed through the crowd. She was glad for the girl's red hair. Without it, she would have lost her.
Dawn scurried into an alleyway. She couldn't see the girl anymore. She looked around frantically.
Where could she have gone?
Dawn heard a sound coming from above and saw the girl climbing an old ladder. She already had a good head start and Dawn wasn't in the best physical shape.
I've got to at least try
She got onto the ladder, pausing momentarily to balance herself before climbing after the girl.

Vulpa glanced down at the girl and laughed briefly, then started climbing again. She hopped over the building's railing and looked over the side to grin at the girl, then turned around to head towards the other end of the roof.
Dawn was out of breath by the time she reached the top. She glanced around quickly at the girl. She was now at the end of the roof.
How does she move so fast?
How does she move so fast?
Vulpa stepped up onto the edge of the roof, and in one motion jumped over to the next building. Her landing was a bit clumsy, so she had to roll on the ground , and then pop back up.
She turned to look over at the girl and paused to catch her breath, as if she really needed to.
Dawn sighed and sat down at the edge of the roof, watching the girl intently. She wasn't about to jump to the next roof. She wasn't sure if she would make it.
She studied the girl, her ragged clothes and chopped hair. She looked like she lived in a rough state. Not that it mattered to Dawn, the girl had stolen from her.
And was getting away with it

"Hmph..." She studied the girl. Her blonde hair. Her pretty face. her nice clothes. She definitely could do without the bracelet. She gave her a small curtsey , along with a sarcastic smile, then turned around and started for the end of the roof.
She hopped over the side and started clambering down the ladder.
((If she doesn't end up following Vulpa, maybe they can meet again in Persephone?))
((Sure. Dawn is really not in enough shape to chase her across rooftops.))
Dawn sighed and lay down on her back, looking up at the sky. Maybe she should take up a sport, get into shape.
But that involves to much effort
She stood up and walked back to the ladder. It wasn't easy to look down, now with her adrenaline from the chase gone, she realized it was quite scary of a fall if the ladder broke.
She inhaled deeply and made her way down slowly, her knuckles whitefrom the pressure she was putting on the ladder.

((Lol))Vulpa made her way down the streets, the bracelet clutched in her hand again.
She turned down a dark alley, then turned into a room and walked over to a table to trade the bracelet in for money.
She walked out a few minutes later and shoved the money into her pocket. She made her way to the building she usually stayed at.
She climbed up the ladder and walked over to her shelter of blankets, then put the money in a small wooden box and stared up at the fading sun-lit sky.
Dawn finally made her way to the bottom of the ladder.
She quickly made her way to her parents apartment.
She quickly made her way to her parents apartment.
Vulpa woke up the next morning to see one of the mothers, who cared for her when she was younger, climbing up the ladder with a envelope in hand.Mary and her family had bought her home when she was about 10, and they'd often given her food, or let her stay the night there. She was never particularly close to anyone, but Mary was close enough t her that she'd trust her with what she felt needed to be shared.
"Here. Arrived in the mail for you a while ago." Mary handed her the letter, then handed her a muffin.
"Thank you." Vulpa gave her a small smile, then took the envelope and the muffin.
Mary gave her a smile, then turned around and started climbing She opened the concealed piece of paper and started reading the letter.
Abby wrote: "Vulpa woke up the next morning to see one of the mothers, who cared for her when she was younger, climbing up the ladder with a envelope in hand.Mary and her family had bought her home when she w..."
She held her breath and bit her tongue as the words started spilling out in front of her.
"Ms. Amara Crescent Archer. Your Aunt and Uncle, Harper May Rainer and Frederick Colby Rainer, have recently been informed of your father and mother's death. As such, they have requested that you be brought to their home planet, Persephone, to live out the rest of your life under their care until you've legally an reached adulthood.
In five days time, after you've received this letter, an escort will be sent to take you to a shuttle, in which you will be seen over by a temporary guardian. They will fill you in with any further instructions upon meeting and confirming your I.D.
Enclosed in this envelope is a letter from your father's sister, Mrs. Rainer.
Best wishes on your new home."

"No way..." Vulpa muttered and ran a hand through her hair. Her eyes were wide with shock and disbelief, she had almost ripped her hair out halfway through the lengthy letter.
This had to be a joke. Reflection had been trying to get into Persephone for forever, and had very little luck. And now, from what she knew, their newest member was waltzing right in to live with her wealthy Aunt and Uncle she knew nothing about.
"There's no way!" She said aloud again, this time more bitter.
They didn't know her parents had been dead this whole time? They didn't know she existed?! And just now, after years of suffering and near starvation, they were asking her to just prance into their fancy home with fancy clothes and what not.
She crumpled up the letter and shoved it into her pockets.
"Unbelievable..." Vulpa growled.
"And Amara!? That's what my parents named me?" She scoffed and rubbed her forehead.
Eventually, she gave up trying to figure everything out, and managed to fall asleep out of pure exhaustion.
-------------------------------------------------------------
The next day, Vulpa packed up everything she owned-which included a bunch of tattered, dirt blankets, her money box, and a change of clothes- and re-read the letter.
-------------------------------------------------------------
On the fourth day, late in the afternoon, Vulpa climbed back up the ladder to collect the stuff she'd had packed for the past three days. She'd contacted the highest person she knew in Reflection, but wasn't able to get in anything close to a full conversation, so she just left a message that she was able to get into Persephone and would be awaiting orders.
She grabbed her torn up duffel bag full of personal items and left her "home" for the last time. She didn't spend anytime staring fondly at it, or saying goodbyes. It wasn't any real home, just blankets and some sticks propped up to protect her from the cold winds at night.
Vulpa made her way through the thinning streets, smacking anyone who tried to grab at her bag, and made her way to the Docking Bay.
