The cabin is a wood building that is cozy and welcoming inside. Each camper gets a single bed, nightstand, and dresser, with plenty of room to hang photos, store books, and play games. There is a large, round knit rug in the center of the floor. The cabin has two bathrooms. Everyone uses the camp showers to shower, so the bathrooms do not have showers. The counselor sleeps in a small loft on the second floor.

Maya walked into her new cabin. "Woah, this place is nice!" She said, climbing up onto a top bunk. "These are nice beds!"

Rae walked into the cabin and stuffed the package under her bed. She fell backwards on top of her covers and sighed.
‘Now that that’s out of the way, what am I supposed to do now? Socialize, probably. Make friends, get to know my cabin mates, etc., etc.’
Rae stood up and grabbed her bag. She walked back through the cabin and out the door, scowling.

Maya walked in. She climbed up to a top bunk and sighed. She put on her headphones and laid down.

Rae walked back in, tossing her bag back on her bed and flopping gracelessly down after it.

Maya looked at Rae. She hadn't met any of her cabin mates. "Heyo!" She said from her top bunk. "Im Maya!"

Luna walked up and stopped at the doorway. She took a nervous breath and walked in calmly. She saw an empty bunk and sat her few belongings she grabbed and herself down. Luna noticed the other people but didn't smile or wave. She just stared at her lap.

((Wow, three people on at a time? Lucky!))

Rae rolled over and sat up, perching on the edge of her bed looking across the room at her cabin mate.
"Hey, I'm Rae."
She noticed the new girl walk in and waved.

She smiled. "Nice to meet you, Rae. Thats a really pretty name." She said. She looked at the other girl. "And who are you?" She asked.

Luna looked up shyly. "Luna" she said softly.
She smiled and waved back.

Maya smiled. "Nice to meet you Luna, and once again, thats a pretty name." She said. She looked at them. "Do you know if anyone else lives in this dorm?"

Rae smiled and stood up, sitting cross-legged on the knit rug in the center of the floor. "What's your Ethereal?" She asked both girls, trying to get to know them better.

"Mine is air!" Maya said.She pulled the blankets up over her body. She looked at Rae. "Whats yours?" She asked.

"Smoke." Rae wound a tendril of thick grey smoke around her wrist and hand to demonstrate.

"Cool, mines stars" Luna smiled back. "I can't really demonstrate right now, it has to be dark out." She mentally reprimanded herself. Of course they know it has to be dark out, its stars for goodness sake.

Maya nodded. "Oooo, that sounds cool!" She said. "Do you want me to demonstrate my power?" She asked.

Rae nodded again. "Cool." She said to Luna then clenched her fist and the smoke disappeared. "Sure." Rae nodded at Maya.

"Sure" She started to pull out a few things out of her pack. She hung a few pictures of her younger self with both her mom and dad. ((Her side will look kinda like this eventually :https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...))

Maya smiled. "Are you sure?" She asked. "Its pretty dangerous." She said. "Here, why dont I just..." She stuck out her hand, then clenched it into a first. The two girls had their wind knocked out.

"Wow" Luna said breathlessly ((Pun on purposely)). "That's really neat!!" She stood back up, and sat back down. She pulled out her notebook and started a sketch of how she would decorate her bed and wall by her bed.

"Whoa." Rae gasped then she looked over at Luna. "What 'cha drawing?"

Maya frowned. "Sorry...are you guys ok?" She asked. She didn't want her new friends to be hurt. She hopped off her bed and sat on the floor. Her blanket was still wrapped around her shoulers.

"I'm fine" She smiled. "It's just an idea, I like drawing, photography, sculpting, and all the other kinds of art" She shrugged, "I'm no Picasso"

Rae took a deep breath. "Don't worry, I'm fine. And that's really cool. I have zero artistic talent." She thought for a moment. "Unless pranking people counts as art."

Luna laughed. "Well, anything is an art." She said solomly. "This person I used to know tried to prank me a lot, so I got him back a few times." She grinned darkly.

"Oooo, cool!" She said. "I nver really got into to art as a kid. So Im not really into it now.."

"Oh" She sat crisscross on the bed. "How old are y'all anyway?" She asked.

"16." Rae leaned back against her bed. "You?"

"I'm 14" She smiled, writing a few notes, mentally measuring the wall space by her.

"Im 16 too." Maya said.

"Cool. Well, seems like I'm the youngest"

“Maybe not. Aren’t we supposed to have another cabin mate? Maybe she’s younger.” Rae shrugged.
“Speaking off, do either of you know who our other cabin mate is?”

Maya shook her head. "No, I dont." She said. She was smiling a bit.

"I dunno..." Luna shrugged, tacking a picture to the wall.

Rae stood up and sat back down on her bed, noticing Maya’s smile. She grinned slightly. “What are you smiling about?”

She shrugged. "Dunno, I just like smiling." She said. She smiled a bit more. Her blanket started to slip off her shoulders so she pulled it back up.

Rae’s head snapped up, towards the window. "Do you hear that?" She asked, standing up and moving towards the window. Her eyes widened as she saw the fire in the distance and a moment later she was running out the cabin door, towards the smoke and fire.
