Let's get excited about ReMo, y'all! Excitement is catching, and we want all our friends to catch the ReMo reading bug, now don't we? ;)

We will also host a weekly read-a-thon to help us all push ourselves to reach our monthly goal by breaking it into manageable chunks each week.

1. Please do not add books to the ReMo shelf here in the group. That would be used for buddy reads if we did any as a group, but that isn't something we've chosen to do yet. Thank you.
2. I'm heading over to tally up everyone's books. Thank you, everyone, for participating in ReMo 2021. We've had a blast hosting the event, and it's been fun to see your enthusiasm on all our threads.

Everyone, thank you so much for participating in the third annual ReMo Challenge. It has been my pleasure to watch those books tally up. Together, we read over 137,076 pages across more than 454 books. Congratulations to all! These are epic numbers, which means we had a great ReMo 2021.
Stay tuned for news of future events. We will broadcast a message to all of the ReMo group members here on Goodreads when events are upcoming. Thank you.
Happy reading for the remainder of 2021!
Here's how it came about:
This idea was borne out of all of us moderators chatting one day during National Novel Writing Month 2018 and bemoaning how little reading we were getting done. We made a pact with each other to do all that catching up on our reading stacks the following January. Well, after chatting a bit more, we decided to invite others to join in with us! And then we thought of including a giveaway.
The third annual Read More (ReMo) Challenge will be in January 2021, so please help us spread the word to all your reader friends who might want to join in.
Here's how it works:
Anyone can join in. You're welcome to set your own goals and participate on the threads. State your goal on the Set Goals thread and tell us how many books you want to read in January 2021.
The prizes:
Giveaway (U.S. only): There will be three (3) prize packs this year. The first prize will include six (6) books, the second prize will include four (4) books, and the third prize will include three (3) books. These books have been donated by the authors.
The minimum goal to enter the drawing is five (5) books or 1000 pages. For the purposes of the drawing, a "book" is defined as 150 pages or longer. Once you have reached your goal and the books have been confirmed by a moderator, you will qualify for an entry into the giveaway (if you live in the United States).
The drawing will take place on February 2, 2021. Winners will be notified on that day as well. They will have 24 hours each from the time of the message being sent to them to claim their prize. If they do not contact the moderator who messages them within that time, they forfeit their prize.
If any of the giveaway prizes are forfeited, a new winner(s) will be selected. The same 24-hour rule applies to the new winner(s).
