What are you guys writing about? I'm writing this story about two girls and a love prophecy and a light goddess and it's just wild. I've written 7 pages so far (✷‿✷)

that sounds so interesting!! i'd love to read that if you have a draft. i'm writing about a parallel world with five main characters and i have to build this whole fantasy world. it's exhausting keeping track of the tiny details but i've honestly never had so much fun writing before.

that sounds amazing, I would totally read that. I've only just started writing so I don't think I'm very good yet but I'll get better I hope

So I had a stroke trying to describe it so here’s what I got: two college dropouts that lov—HATE each other are forced to save a world they never knew existed.

Everyone’s idea sounds so good and yes the world building can be so exhausting. Little things you don’t notice while reading matters a lot when you’re the one writing. Right now I’m writing a forbidden love story which is going to be dark and steamy. So far I have written the blurb and 3 chapters. 🙈

I'm writing about three girls on a dystopian earth and fae (possibly another species, I'm working that out) are undercover because there's a war coming since basically a half-fae is ruling the dystopian earth world. there are different realms (each realm is home to a different/slightly different species) that used to be connected but the connections are severing so now only one species are able to travel between realms. these three girls plus two undercover fae have to save all the realms first before the corrupt half-fae leader gets there first (yes I'm still working out how many I want to have) because the fInAl BaTtLe will be between the fae kingdom/earth. again, it might not be fae. I'm about 25 chapters in but I need to re-write.

Nope I haven't
Because it's a mess from speed-writing, I'm going to re-write at least a few chapters and then post them

i've started over twice and i feel bad bc the ppl reading end up rereading the entire story again bc nothing makes sense

I am writing a story where a girl called Almesia is the daughter of the Ice queen but the queen wants the throne to herself. Almesia figures out that she is cursed and that she is transforming to her werewolf self, and she needs to control it, so then a girl called the Archer comes and takes her to the Alpha king, who turns out to be her dad. From then on she plans to overthrow her mother from the ice throne.

Whoa, you guys are working on some really awesome stuff!
I have so many different projects going on. And I just started another one which I'm having so much fun writing.
I only have a few chapters written and I'm sort of discovering the rest as I go.
What it's about so far: a girl on the run from something/someone, there are demons, fae, the king of hell, and an unknown faction. They're all after her but for what reason... Well, I'll let you know when I find out :-)

Yea, these seem like super cool stories. I would love to write a story, but I think I'll stick to poetry for now. Can't wait to read everyone's stories in the future.

Ayla that sounds like my dream book. I wanna read it so bad

I'm writing about an elite legion of guards called Queensguard, whose jobs are to protect and fight for the monarch of their kingdom. A small group of them (well, like one specific friend group) begins uncovering a rising force of Others through the kingdom. Others, which are creatures, spirits, faeries, etc., that have been banned and considered legend for centuries.

I'm writing a M/M romance with a really unlikeable but at the same time very likeable main character. We are starting when the relationship between the two guys just ended and he's doing everything wrong to move on. Each chapter is either a look at the relationship they had or the guy trying but being unable to move on. I have about 50 pages so far.

I have been trying to write a dystopian series, but I also have ideas for 2 retellings. but sometimes I get so overwhelmed, cuz I can see the idea clearly in my head but when it comes to write down I get really anxious.
But I'm working on it!

i think you should write a vague, general outline.
i really shouldn't be giving that advice because i literally never write an outline, but if you know what you want to write about but you don't know how to get it down, i think it's best to jot down some ideas in that case.

i'm writing my 1st novel. it is a science fiction story i've not come across in any of my readings. the protagonist is a hispanic graduate student (basically me) that wants to change the world. i'm up to 99,000+ words.
i'm afraid i have too many characters.

Loll no. I have so many and I wrote one chapter then I moved to the next. But right now I have been very productive with a specific story that you can find on my bio
