It seems like people love one or the other. I didn't care much for Stanley, but I enjoy this series. Another friend loves Stanley and can stand the Puzzle Lady series.I'll be interested to see which side you fall on.

I didn't realize there was more to the Puzzle Lady series, I thought it ended for some reason. Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do! You've given more to add to my TBR pile, this is exciting, I loved the series. Thank you, Mark! :O) I'll have to check out the Stanley series as well, have been meaning to do that.

Somehow, I have a feeling this may be the case with other series I like. It will be a nice surprise to learn there will be more read.
You are very welcome Kristine. He changed publishers and I don't think the most recent are coming out in paperback, so maybe that is why you missed that the series had continued. Just one thought.

22 is still great! I've surprised myself by how many I've read this year.
Thanks, Donna.Dagny, I read some non-cozy mysteries, but not nearly as many as I do cozy mysteries. I've expanded some this year thanks to books on CD - including Michael Connelly. I'm only two books into the Bosch series, so I have some serious catching up to do there.
Actually, I'm up to date on Mickey Haller. Started with those. But I do intend to add the others in as I go.
Connelly was always in the back of my mind to read. After all, he's a Southern California author, so lots of mystery readers around here read him. I read The Lincoln Lawyer back before the movie came out. Then I put him off for a couple of years until a friend started really getting into his books and I went back to Haller.I started listening to more audio books this last year, and I'm rotating authors I've been meaning to read but haven't had a chance to yet, and he's one of them. Of course, at the rate I'm going through his books, I have years ahead of me until I'm up to date. Same with the others on my rotation.
