I want to read The Guinevere Deception, These Violent Delights, Tweet Cute and Cinder in 2021! I actually got Renegades from my school library yesterday XD And Emma you should definitely read Crooked Kingdom ASAP! It's so good.

9. A Reaper at the Gates/A Sky Beyon the Storm by Sabaa Tahir - I just read the last book and I couldn't not put this series on my favourites of the year list
8. House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J Maas - the friendship between Danika and Bryce got to me
7. Solitaire by Alice Oseman
6. The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab - I actually thought this will be higher in my favourites list, but the top 6 books are all really close together so it was soo hard for me to actually decide which at what number goes.
5. Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo - I loved this book this characters, it was just a perfect book that I read at the perfect time
4. Vicious by V.E. Schwab - this was one of the first books that I read this year and from the first chapter I knew this will be on my favourites list
3. Radio Silence by Alice Oseman - this was such a good book and I related with it on so many levels. Please read it if you haven't yet, just do it, trust me, it's amazing.
2. Keeper of the Lost Cities (series) by Shannon Messenger - my favourite in the series (so far) was Neverseen. I read book 1 to 8 this year and I loved every second of these books. (p.s. I'm team Keefe)
1. Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare - this was my most anticipated book of this year and it did not disappoint. it was so good, I loved it so much and I cannot wait for Chain of Iron to be released!!

Reading accomplishments of the year:- Finished the original Skulduggery Pleasant series (books 1-9 plus Tanith Low) and thus concluded a huge chapter of my teenage years, will pick up the new series likely in 2021
- Finished the original I Am Not a Serial Killer trilogy, am not going to continue to further books though
- Reread Sklaven und Herren ("slaves and lords", no English release), a book that wildly disturbed me in middle school and you know what? Still does
- Read a book by Brandon Sanderson, which I'd been meaning for for so long. Sadly wasn't into the series.
A sort of top list, but a hard to make one, since honestly a lot of this I can't compare (max. 1 per series):
1. The Dying of the Light (I read from 5 onwards, my second favourite being book 6: Death Bringer)
2. Spellslinger (I read 1-3)
3. Comet in Moominland (I read none of the others, but man do I want to)
4. The Magnolia Sword: A Ballad of Mulan
5. Ascendance of a Bookworm: Part 1 Volume 1 (I read none of the others either because they're a bit hard to get)
6. The Monstrumologist (not planning to read the sequel, but will go down in history as the most disgusting book I have read in my life)
7. Sklaven Und Herren (apparently is also part of a series? I never knew)
8. Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There (slightly preferred it over Alice in Wonderland)
9. Cinder (didn't have options to read the rest yet)
10. The Restaurant at the End of the Universe (I read one volume per year. this was the 2020 volume. fittingly, as it features the end of the universe.)
I haven't read as much as I think most people here this year since this was only the year where I really started getting back into reading anyway (also explaining why I have such a different list from everyone else) but I think it was a good year!
