YA Apocalyptic and Dystopian Fiction discussion

I forgot to make one for Uglies, so you may discuss both books in this post. I want to hear what you all think of this book and the series so far.

I like the take of how beauty is before everything else. It's been a while since I've read this series. I thought the idea of it was pretty great. Definitely a young adult book and a fast read. I'm new to good reads not sure if I'm supposed to put spoilers in so I won't. But I recommend it because it definitely makes you look at the vanity of people today and think huh... I wonder if this is the direction the world is going to go!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which is true. What they do to the human body in this book out strips any body modifications I've ever heard of in real life. I'm not sure if I like this series or not, but I'll stick with it for now.

Just finished Uglies it rocked can't wait to start the next one.

Glad to know that you liked the old one. I have yet to read Pretties, but I am going to start it soon.
