Kristen I read Interpreter of Maladies, by Jhumpa Lahiri. Recommended to me by the Book Chat librarian! But I'd already read another one of her recommendations for that category.

Michelle Youll | 15 comments I read Thick: and other essays by Tressie McMillian Cottom. I liked some stories more than others but enjoyed all of the stories! These are based on her experiences as a woman of color in America and really opened my eyes to her experiences.

Laurie | 20 comments I read The Anthropocene Reviewed by John Green. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend. Would never have picked it up if it weren't for this challenge.

I read The 2000s Made Me Gay: Essays on Pop Culture by Grace Perry, which reminded me of several aughts pop-culture gems that I'd completely forgotten and made me feel all the nostalgia.
