Nidhi Kumari Hi friends,

I suppose all the books we are to read for these categories must be classics i.e published before 1971. I want some recommendations for self help category please.

message 9: by Linda (new)

Linda Martin (lindajm) I had a hard time finding classic self-help books so I decided on a Christian classic.

I'll make note and add religion to that genre.

I added religion to that genre.

Here are some classic self help books.
Sex and The Single Girl (1962)
Psycho-Cybernetic Principles for Creative Living (1960)
I'm Okay, You're Okay (1967)

message 12: by Nidhi (new)

Nidhi Kumari Thanks Elizabeth.
I'm Okay, You're Okay seems good.

Linda Martin (lindajm) Oh, I remember reading I'm Okay You're Okay back in the 1970's... it must have been a recently published book then! I even reviewed it here a few years back!

Here's another one that was popular back then: Games People Play. Published in 1964.
