75 Books...More or Less! discussion

Shelby and I will be reading The Phantom Tollbooth at the beginning of the year! I don't recall that I've ever read it before but I've definitely heard of it. And I've owned a copy since 2018. Or 2019. I don't remember but I won it!

I'd never heard of this one until very recently.

I read this book in grade school and looooved it! I remember the way the wordplay and puns were pure magic to me; it's one of the things I'm really afraid to pick up as an adult in case it doesn't hold up.

I read the intro and have definitely never read it before. Only heard of it. I'm excited to read it, it sounds fun!

Shelby, just let me know when your copy comes in, I can start it whenever.

I’m planning to start on the first either way. (I was hoping to listen to the audiobook, but I have the ebook checked out just in case it doesn’t get here before that.) If you guys want to start already, that’s fine I’ll catch up.

I might wait a few more days for my audio hold and start Priory first while I'm waiting.

I haven't started it yet. Might read a few pages tonight. It's been a busy day!

I just finished it! It was interesting. I can see why it's so beloved.

I finished it last night. It was alright. Kind of a headache. lol. Some of the phrases/expressions haven't held up and are not used anymore.

Norton Juster just died. :(

He was 91 so pretty long life. But still sad. Not sure the name would've even meant anything to me had we not just read the book.
