This book was funny. I couldn’t stop reading once I started. I put it on hold during December as a holiday side read, but it just came available.

It would also work for prompt #46 - 2020 Goodreads Choice Award.

Book 6

Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano for PS#27 & ATY#22 - ATY best book of the month tread.

I loved this book, 5 stars for me. It was an emotional book without being sappy. Even though this book is about a teenaged boy, I really liked the character growth.

This is the first book I've read by this author, and have already marked her other books to read.

Some good tips, quick read. The author has another book that I may check out.

Book 8

Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie for ATY #5, PS#20, Abe author, 1001 book list.

This book was very interesting, but long. The paper book was around 500 pages and the audio was over 17 hrs.
I like the different POVs. It helps tell the whole story.

Book 9

Island Affair by Priscilla Oliveras - ATY #25 - book on an island.

This was a good easy read. I love Key West and books set there.

Book 10

The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine for ATY #10, ( or #4)

This book was very slow in the beginning but the second half made it worth it. 3 1/2 ⭐️.

Hideaway by Nora Roberts for ATY#40 - A book with flowers or greenery on the cover, PS #33 - A book featuring three generations (grandparent, parent, child).

A nice comfort read. Typical Nora Roberts' that has a solid story. The book actually had four generations featured.

All That Glitters by Danielle Steel for ATY#31 - A book by an author whose career spanned more than 21 years.
This was a typical Danielle Steel book, after reading so many of her books, I don't find them exciting, just a comfort read, which is what I needed this week.

Book 13
The Queen's Gambit by Walter Tevis for ATY #27. Interesting story but since I’m not into chess it was a long read.

Book 14

The Wrong Family by Tarryn Fisher for ATY #42.

A 4 star triller. I’ve read two other books by this author and enjoyed them all.

I enjoyed this book. It was a sweet romance, but not too mushy. A good comfort read, which I truly needed this week

Book 26

The Two Lives of Lydia Bird by Josie Silver - ATY #2 - authors without A T Y in name.

This was a real life love story, different from the normal story of a couple meets, get to know each other, fall in love.... A woman’s boyfriend dies and the story after is told.

I enjoyed reading this book. I also read One Day in December last year by this author.

Something She's Not Telling Us by Darcey Bell - ATY#44 - A book whose title contains a negative.

3 stars - my apologies to this book for my low rating -- It was all me, not you. I liked the book, I really did.... But I had such high expectations for this book that it didn't meet. Last year I read A Simple Favor by this author that I gave 5 stars. I was hoping for another 5 star, which is truly a rare rating for me.


Book 30

The Book of Two Ways by Jodi Picoult - ATY#11 - A book to celebrate the Grand Egyptian Museum. This was one of about 5 prompts that gave me concerns.

This book was great! 4 starts

I haven't read a Jodi Picoult book in a while. This book was heavy on Egyptian facts, so may not be for everyone. The base story was very good.
