Chelle_Rydz (chellerydz) | 7 comments Finished my first climb up the mountain with City of Endless Night (Pendergast, #17) by Douglas Preston
This was a pretty good Pendergast installment but not one of the best in the series. It was better than the last few though.
I don't know why the whole "bonfire of the vanities" storyline was in there, unless it is going to more prominent in the next book of the series. In my opinion, it was just filler.

Chelle_Rydz (chellerydz) | 7 comments Bailed on The Flight Attendant by Chris Bohjalian . I'm not a fan of spy books and I think I may like the series more than the book (oh the horror!) It may be a case of wrong book, wrong time. Plus I dropped everything when I got the ARC for Across the Green Grass Fields (Wayward Children, #6) by Seanan McGuire from #netgalley which I devoured (like a kelpie would).
