This last book I read could go in a couple of different places, but since I generally avoid horror, I'll gladly place modern-day slavery where it belongs:B4: Horror
The Dead Eye and the Deep Blue Sea: The World of Slavery at Sea-A Graphic Memoir by Vannak Anan Prum
This slot could get filled multiple times throughout 2021, but I'll fill it with one I've read in translation:B2: Non-Fiction
The Art of the Publisher by Roberto Calasso
I should have filled this one in last week:E3: Historical Fiction Set <1900
The Snake Stone by Jason Goodwin
And to find a space for a Booker Prize winner, I'll put that in my Free Space:C3: FREE
The Inheritance of Loss by Kiran Desai
Choices again. I think I'll put this one here:C4: Espionage
The Shadow Killer by Arnaldur Indriðason
The author's personal experiences informed this book, so:E4: Based on a True Story
Heart and Soul by Maeve Binchy
Whether or not it is a modern classic or a classic, it reads like a classic, so I'll place this book here:C2: Classic Literature
The Old Capital by Yasunari Kawabata
A classic I have finally gotten around to reading!C5: Greek, Roman or Norse Mythology
The Odyssey: by Homer

The Odyssey: by Homer"Good job! I am finally tackling this classic myself and am reading it over the next few weeks.
It’s very familiar and readable; I’m glad to have finally read it. Hope you enjoy it! I really liked The Iliad as well, which I read a couple years ago.
Well it's pretty obvious where this book should go:E5: Food Theme
Coconut & Sambal: Recipes from my Indonesian Kitchen by Lara Lee
How about Desert, Ocean, and Mountains?C1: Desert, Ocean, or Mountains
Andean Express by Juan De RecacoecheaAnd that's Bingo #1
