Does anyone else draw in their free time? I'm pretty terrible at drawing but I've been getting into it a lot lately.

I do. I’m not saying I’m any good at it, but whatever.

haha. i mostly draw stuff from this magazine my mom's subscribed to, it has really cool stuff.

Huh, cool. I usually stick with simple drawings of people. Most of the time just their shoulders and faces, but I’ll do full-body once in a while. It’s soothing.

I love drawing nature! Especially flowers and landscapes (which I mostly paint).

thanks! and digital drawing is actually pretty easy, I wouldn't say it's easier than paper drawing but it has pros and cons. Like the undo button. But it doesn't give you the same texture unless you really work on it and layer a bunch of things.

Ahhh yes! This is my problem!

Here's a character I 'drew' I found a pencil sketch of a girl and altered it so it fits a character I made up.



About the wood background: This was a photo someone took of a sheet of paper on their counter- it's totally random. The only thing I drew was the girl.

brooke, that's incredible, nice job! i love the ombre of the hair, and profile proportions are, like, perfect, which is always something i struggle with
