My favorite line from this section:

I feel like there is a lot of this sage womanly advice sprinkled throughout this book.

What a great line that is! There is so much in this book to savor.

I can't believe that Samuel shows up with a Magnolia tree! Of all the the things. Hoffman really knows how to set the scene and I can just imagine those white leaves blooming in the middle of all of that Massachusetts cold and winter gray.

Isn't it just romantic!!
Its one of my favorite parts of the book.
So much better than a basic bouquet. Sigh, I love sea men.
