That's OK, Sam. I have had to ask about acronyms myself. Sometimes you can find out what they mean by just typing them into the search program you use, i.e., Google.

Can you please explain what that means literally? I appreciate your patience.

Year to date...means up until this moment but in anticipation that more is to come. I have read 6 books in this year up to this moment but anticipate reading more so the total count will change.

Thank you, Sam. I find I am reading just about no "one-shots" and few novellas so the books I am reading are longer and taking up more of my time.
